Wells Food Festival
Wells Food Festival returns on Sunday, 13 October to celebrate the high quality products from our local artisan food and drink producers.
Over 200 traders from Somerset and the South West will be showcasing and selling food and drinks, street food and homewares.
English wines will be featured again this year, with the opportunity to talk to the vineyard owners and taste their wines.
The Children’s Zone will have some interactive fun and some kiddie sized street food. Young visitors will also enjoy the Fun Kitchen cookery workshops and the Children’s Trail.
Food for Thought will also be back, with a dedicated area highlighting current, food related, social issues.
The market stalls will be found in the Market Place and Town Hall, on the Bishop’s Palace Green, along the moat and in the recreation ground

Frome Independent Market
The Frome Independent is an award winning, destination street market. We reclaim Frome’s high street once a month to showcase the best independent craftspeople, designers, makers, food producers and vintage traders in the South West.
The market takes place on the first Sunday of the month from March to December and strives to be ‘more than a market’, incorporating live music, DJs, street performance, workshops and activities for children and adults alike on market days.
The market is a free event for visitors and has quickly grown to be one of the most significant elements in the region’s calendar attracting over 80,000 visitors each year.
The Frome Independent is produced and managed in Frome, Somerset by a small team of four Frome residents, who are supported by a dedicated team of local event staff on market days. Frome has been a market town since before the Norman Conquest, and our mission is to retain and celebrate this important aspect of the town’s identity.
Shepton Mallet Market

The Shepton Mallet Sunday Market is a brand new market, produced by a passionate team of Shepton Mallet residents and business owners. It’s focus is to bring people together and make Shepton the thriving market town it once was. Expect a mix of vintage, designer-makers, food, antiques, home & gardens and art, alongside kids’ fun, workshops and live music.

About the festivals
All our food & drink festivals are free to attend, family-friendly, accessible and held in a town centre. We aim to celebrate the great local producers surrounding the festival town by putting on a cracking one-day festival that is low cost for them to attend - meaning that money goes straight back into local businesses; well publicised; good fun; well run and with lots of variety. eat:Festivals is a not-for-profit social enterprise that aims to connect communities with the productive landscape that surrounds them, which is good for local business, food producers and for families.
The festivals aim to bring a great range of producers and products into the town on the day of the festival. Mostly based within 30 miles of each town, with a few exceptional and hard to find products from further afield. Mix in a talks, workshops, livestock, tractors and lots of entertainment and competitions. It's a free day out and a chance to meet friends whilst discovering something new. We will be serving your favourite drinks from our horsebox bar outside Costa Coffee.
Devizes Food and Drink Festival
Street Food & Market
Our market is legendary. Only food and drink related stalls are featured, making it a foodies’ paradise. Street food, lots of drinks, live music, and shopping galore.
Nunney street Fayre
Nunney Street Fayre is a unique event which attracts thousands of visitors from across the South West of England and stallholders from across the country. Nunney Community Association (NCA) hosts this annual event.
You can expect plenty of live music, good food and drink, stalls to browse - where visitors can purchase unique items, lots of activities to engage and interest, with a dedicated children’s area especially to keep the younger visitors entertained. We hope we have managed to create a fayre which values and celebrates modern village life, appeals to all ages, tastes and budgets.
Warminster Summer Market
Warminster will once again join together for a large independent market, set to spread across the town.
Warminster Town Council and the Warminster Business Network (WBN) will host the Warminster Independent Spring Market together on Saturday 29th June, from 10am to 6pm.
The High Street and Market Place are set to be closed, as independent stalls line the town centre as well as inside the Civic Centre with a popular indoor market held at the same time.
The event will build on the success of the Warminster Christmas Celebrations, to promote local businesses and encourage visitors to all areas of the town with live entertainment also booked.
Flourish Food Festival

Trowbridge Midsummer Festival
The Trowbridge Midsummer Festival takes place in the heart of our community, brought to you by Trowbridge Town Council in partnership with Trowbridge Town Hall
. This annual event brings delicious food and drinks together with fantastic music and an exceptional line-up of performance artists from the world of theatre, circus, and dance. The festival is free for the public to attend. There will be over 60 delicious food and drink stalls offering a variety of dishes from around the world, a vegan market, and exceptional homeware and gift items. Performances will take place throughout the day, with a focus on family-friendly entertainment from noon until 6pm when music will take over on the stage. There really is something for everyone! With a relaxed, festival vibe, what better way is there to spend a Saturday in June!

Horningsham Village Fayre
Join us for our annual Horningsham Village Fayre, which will celebrate the spirit and style of the 1940s on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, from 12 pm. to 4 pm.
Entrance and car parking are by donation!
Dust off your vintage frocks and polish your victory rolls for a trip down memory lane! Expect bunting galore, a sprinkle of WWII memorabilia, classic cars, and a whole lot of nostalgia.
The Village Fayre is a much-loved tradition that attracts around 3,000 visitors for an afternoon of fun and raises vital funds for local community projects.
Open Farm Sunday
Join us for Open Farm Sunday on the 9th June 2024. This is a family fun filled day where we will show the farming and cheese making process, offer tractor rides, a farm machinery display and lots of other activities. There will also be hot food & drink accompanied by live music in one of our fields.

Glastonbury Abbey Summer Open Day
The Glastonbury Abbey Summer Open Day returns in 2024 on Saturday June 1st with FREE entry from midday to 8pm featuring live music on the main stage, arts and crafts market, catering and more.
The entertainment on the stage kicks off with the 100 strong choir Sally's Angels at 1pm and concludes before 8pm with local legends The Charlie Miller Band.
Sip & Paint Evening in Our Trowbridge Distillery
Enjoy an evening of socialising and painting with our super popular sip and paint parties. No experience is necessary, and beginners are welcome.
Our unique painting parties are a perfect way for friends and family to get together or even colleagues looking for a fun work night out or a team-building event. They are ideal for smaller birthday celebrations, a unique date night, or even just singletons looking to unleash their inner artist and meet new people.
Our experienced local and friendly artists will guide you through the process of painting, blending colours, and creating beautiful works of art in this unique Sip and Paint evening. Enjoy a step-by-step painting class made all the better with fabulous company, good music, and a glass of wine or two in this fun creative workshop.
No experience is required, just a willingness to have fun and learn. Our artist will guide you through the creative process and will be on hand to offer lots of tips and advice. However, even if you have painting experience and want to mix things up for a fun and enjoyable evening, everyone is welcome.
We’ll provide you with everything you need to create your masterpiece including canvases, paints, brushes, easels and aprons. Everyone will have a canvas to take home with them, they can be proud of.
We recommend arriving at the venue 20 minutes before to get any drinks you may require before starting the event. All drinks can be purchased from the venue before and during the event, and if you wish to eat beforehand, this venue offers food.
Bruton Festival of Arts & Packhorse Fair
Bruton Festival of Arts is a month-long celebration of local music and arts culminating in the Packhorse Fair. Running since 1999, our much-loved festival took a break in 2019.
This year the marks our 25th anniversary, and the festival returns, with the Packhorse Fair taking place on May 27th 2024.
